New Publication: Employee Disputes and Innovation Performance

I am pleased to announce that our article, “Employee Disputes and Innovation Performance: Evidence from the Pharmaceutical Industry,” has been published in the International Journal of Managerial Finance (IJMF).
This research uses a hand-collected dataset of employee lawsuits to understand the effect of employee litigation on firms’ innovation output, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. We find that employee disputes significantly lower the total number of FDA-approved products, highlighting the importance of workplace environment and employee treatment for innovation performance.
